A harsh desert world on the Outer Rim
Territories of the Galaxy. Tatooine serves
as a quiet planet, with its endless dunes
and twin suns. The ordinary people live
here, where they struggle day in and day
out to survive. It is at Tatooine, far from the
politics of the galaxy where the story of hope begins.

Tatooine is the home to little Anakin Skywalker,
a slave who works under Watto. Watto is a junk
dealer of used Anakin often to tend to his shop
or enter him in pod races to earn money. Anakin
is a very bright young boy who is destined to do
a lot more in life than just be a slave.

Qui Gon Jinn, Obi Wan Kenobi, and Padme
make an emergency landing on Tatooine.
This is where they meet Anakin Skywalker
who is no ordinary boy. He is prophesied to
be the Chosen One, the one who will bring
balance to the galaxy. His freedom is bartered
and from there he goes on to train under
Obi Wan to be a Jedi.
